I found the entire experience of being supported by Pure Cremations, kind, sensitive, intelligent and considerate. It was a huge relief to learn there was an alternative pathway for us to take in completing our loved ones earthly journey. Instead of having to endure the often stiff and informal services lead typically by someone who didn't know the deceased, in circumstances that do not feel like a match to their spirit and potentially surrounded and witnessed by folk we don't know but feel pressured to include, we could choose to handle the cremation privately without the typical service. We received the ashes, most kindly delivered by their representative and can take our time to be with the ashes and have our own rituals and ceremonial goodbyes. I heartily recommend this approach. Seeing the attractive container surrounded by flowers and candles on our sideboard at home, has given all of us the chance to process the passing, without the extraneous stresses of the 'normal service.
