I purchased a Bath (it’s a specialist bath and odd shaped so can’t go and buy everywhere).. said in stock and then once I purchased I got an email to say it wasn’t in stock and I had to wait 4-5 weeks - that’s my first gripe
2nd gripe- the bath comes,UNPROTECTED!! The delivery driver stands at my door and even mentions about there being no protection, surprisingly the bath wasn’t too bad though there was damage! I contacted QS supplies and showed evidence of the bath being damaged - they told me they couldnt get another bath sent out but I would have to wait about 6-8 weeks! Bare in mind I had already waiting weeks for this bath to come.. I have been without a bathroom for a while.. I said this wasn’t an option. The option of a return and refund was not given to me, I was desperate to get my bath finished and had agreed to keep the bath but I would like a partial refund..
We have not been able to come to a agreement on a partial refund, they keep offering only £50, bare in mind I paid over 10 times that amount for the bath itself.. and it would cost me more than £50 to get fixed.. the cheapest quote I have had to fix is £107 and the most expensive is £300.. I have said I would agree to £100 refund and I would clear the £7 myself and still no agreement..
I have requested 3 times for a manager to call me back, filled in the forms online and booked times for them to call me and each time they do not call!!!
Avoid this company! I am now going to raise a chargeback through my bank and hope I get the full amount back!
