The Galapagos cruise on the Evolution was everything you could want - penguins, land and sea iguanas, blue footed boobies, cormorants, albatross, sea lions, turtles, tortoises, sharks, rays, dolphins, fishes and more. The guides were knowledgeable, dedicated, and patient - they spent extra time to allow guests the opportunity to explore and take advantage of what nature brought. The Ecuadorian Amazon stay with Sacha Lodge similarly was incredible. Guides took time to show beauty of the rainforest. Saw howler monkeys, squirrel monkey, capuchins, hoartzins (stinky turkeys), toucans, parrots, caymans, sloth, piranhas, colorful butterflys and more. Perfect to have done the Amazon trip before Galapagos to truely appreciate how animals were unafraid of human on Galapagos.
