Quasar exceeded all of our expectations! Our very informative and personable guides were able to fulfill our dream to closely snorkel with penguins, sea lions and green turtles by bringing us to more out-of-the-way areas where they knew these animals were located. The chefs on the Evolution provided us with delicious, beautifully prepared meals. All the food was prepared from scratch with fresh vegetables, fish and meats. The pastry chef on board provided delectable desserts and fresh breads. We were provided with a coffee and tea bar 24/7, a sparkling clean hot tub for warm-ups after snorkeling and a very comfortable cabin, which was cleaned three times a day. The whole crew is devoted to making sure that all guests have their needs met. For example, as I was swimming to get closer to a few penguins, Carlos, one of the panga drivers, floated by to volunteer to take me out to the area in the panga (a small inflatable boat). Without his help, I would have been unable to have an experience of a lifetime: 2 curious penguins swam right up to me and I have lovely photos as a memento. Another time, our guide saw a pod of Killer Whales and, even though it was unscheduled, she organized the pangas, so that we could be up close among the whales. It was thrilling!
