It was a great trip. More upper end than I usually go on, but my partner picked it out and I really enjoyed it. Yes there was a greater expense than I'm used to, but it didn't feel over the top. Everything that was needed to make this a great and safe trip was provided without feeling like "too much", just what was necessary to make it all work. A special note. The ship's captain was very good at presenting himself as confident, experienced, intelligent, accessible, everything. Dressed in white, epaulets, the figure of authority. So what did he do on snorkeling expeditions when he didn't have to command the ship. He personally snorkeled with my partner, who doesn't swim, but who bravely got in the ocean, with some safety flotation, and the captain of the 200' Evolution, with 31 guests and 29 staff, personally kept her safe, and secure by staying with her and enabling her to enjoy that great experience of being in the marine environment with those special animals. Enough said!
