To manage my sciatic pain, I purchased their most expensive electrostimulator. However, I have not noticed any improvement in my condition after using it for a week. I am unable to use the device on my abdomen due to a hernia mesh repair.
One of the main issues I encountered was that the manual provided with the equipment is only available in Spanish, leaving me without proper instructions in English. Additionally, I discovered discrepancies between the instruction manual provided and the inbuilt instructions in the software. These inconsistencies have made it confusing to use the device, especially when different instructions are provided for the same treatment, such as variations in electrode positioning.
Within the 14-day return period from delivery, I contacted QUIRUMED to request a return and a refund for the equipment. Unfortunately, they refused my request, citing that the product is a medical device that comes into direct contact with the skin, and for hygiene reasons, they cannot accept returns or issue a refund.
However, it's important to note that the equipment does not come into direct contact with the body, as the disposable pads have contact. These pads can be easily replaced with new ones, and the cost is deducted from the refund (As they sell these pads). I proposed this solution to QUIRUMED, but they adamantly declined.
