The Escape Road shoe are my second pair of Quoc’s, my other pair are the lace up MTB shoes which I use for my gravel bike. I really like the designs and I like that they are a bit quirky however for me the sizing and fit have continued to be an issue. I’m normally a size 11 (45). My MTB shoes are a 46 (the 47 were massive) however they are still quite tight to wear. I’m hoping over time they will stretch. My road shoes are a 47. The 46 was too short in the foot. These are quite a wide shoe and will probably need a thicker shoe to feel right. I like to be brand loyal especially to British companies, all I would say is just be cautious of the sizes and don’t follow their size chart as on both purchases they were wrong.
