I am doing a 2l km race this weekend. As part of my preparation, I will have a low Fodmap breakfast 3 hours before the race to ensure time to digest. I choose Low Fodmap as I have gut issues especially when running. I am a triathlete, swimmer and tramper. I will have Low Fodmap breakfasts before any major day or event. The ease of preparation at breakfast means I can be at home, on the road, or out of town; all I need to do is add water, have a spoon handy, and eat. The packaging becomes a bowl. So convenient and no thinking is involved.
