I am a Plumber running my own business as a sole trader. Unfortunately I don't always have constant work so I have to buy leads from companies like My Builder and Rated People. In this case I bought leads from Rated People in January as a one off as business was a bit slow. I spent £120 and only managed to get one lead out of it at less than the the amount i spent. Obviously I came to the conclusion it was a waste of money. I thought that was it, until 3 months later they took another £120 from my account. I thought it was probably a mistake so asked for my money back. They told me I was in a 3 month rolling contract and it was to late to get a refund. Apparently I hadn't seen the small print. I'm fuming that a greedy company like this can just steal money out of your account with no warning and then refuse to give it back. Why would any one want to use a business that takes your money but provides you with nothing. From what i hear there not great at looking after there normal customers either. They just want the money and don't apear to care about anything else. Please don't use them as they have no customer service phone number and the only thing you can do is message them. I wonder why!!! These guys are criminals who don't care about customer service! I hate you RatedPeople!
