I employed a building & facilities manager through Rated People. He has turned out to be a crook, having disappeared 5 weeks ago in the middle of building an extension and pocketing the money I had paid him. I've advised Rated People twice about this but so far have had little interest from them apart from sending me a disclaimer saying they aren't liable for their traders, but I had only asked them to remove the trader from their website so that other people wouldn't be defrauded. I'm still waiting for them to remove his previous excellent testimonials from the website.
