Hello All, I am here to reveal one of the recent scam where one of my friend has been the victim of it. He has been impacted with the huge scam by investing into crypto currency in a illegitimate website. In order to recover his amount he has been approached a person who pretends(impersonation) from PayBack recovery team. His whatsapp no: +447860044777 and he introduced himself as he belongs to UK. Initially, he heard the complete story from my friend and later he promised that he can recover his amount in few hours from the website. He even doesn’t charge anything to initiate this process. The complete recovery process looks like below: Pulling the amount from the website using certain wallet ID and track that wallet in the Zerion Wallet (https://zerion.io/). Later, the Trust wallet (https://trustwallet.com/) has to be downloaded and the recovery phrase (12 or 24 digit to be shared). Post this he asked to click on this link: https://directlinked.pages.dev and choose the Trust wallet by inputting the recovery phrase. Post this he asked to download the www.coinfieldhub.com and asked my friend to register with the Etherum wallet address from Trust wallet while registering coinfieldhub. It seems after 5 hours the recovery amount has been hitted in the coinfieldhub account and Withdrawal has to be initiated. Now, in order to initiate a Withdrawal he has demanded $4000 and ask my friend to deposit in the Trust wallet. Based on his advice my friend deposited the amount and within few mins the amount has been switched to Coinfield hub walltet account. Post that the payback scammer whatsapp no: +447860044777 has not turned up and blocked my friends account. Later, we came to know this scammer is having a tieup with the bigtime scammer www.coinfieldhub.com. They both are on a partnership and extracting all the hard earned money from the victims of existing scams. I would insist UK govt and Payback ltd (https://payback-ltd.com/) to take a stringent action against this scammer and coinfieldhub.com. Along with that $4000 he altogether looted $150k from my friend. This guy is impersonating himself as he is from Payback ltd. Please be more cautious and don’t loose further money by approaching him.
