I love the whole concept of getting a yoga mat from a place that uses recycled materials, is eco-friendly and plants a tree on your behalf. And when I went on to browse, I discovered the Indigenous designed yoga mats, which was a major reason why I took time to browse through the website. Doing yoga is about spirituality, natural healing, mind, body and soul, so both aspects of practicing that on legitimately designed Indigenous artwork (which is my culture), and with what Recycled mats are about, helps me connect with myself in yoga in the best of ways. This mat is stunning, has the perfect weight and density, and motivates me and my flow. I especially love that I can see who the artist is, and what their story and tribe is. That was a major selling point for me. Without that, I would not be able to purchase. It needs to be authentic, and that I believe, it is.
