I have one of the larger mats that I use with my rv which is great.
But this summer I’ve been using it down the beach and it is absolutely fantastic. Still use the towels on top of the mat but basically no sand on your towel and plenty of room to spread out.
I have the carry case so throw pillows and towels and blockouts all in the bag so just have one item to carry.
Just shake the sand when done. Or hose off later.
