Bought items totalling $155 and then a day later went 40 % off.. I am so taken back because I had emailed the day of the sale not knowing that it needed to be dealt with in store. So when I received the info to return to the store to address the price adjustment the flash sale was over and told I was no longer eligible, since a few days had past I wore two of the shirts and brought the other two in with receipt. This was still not sufficient because the sale was no longer happening, and I had worn two items. Well of course I wore them I just bought them. I didn’t want to return them I just wanted the price adjustment.
You expect every customer to wait ten days before wearing their purchase in order to receive any price adjustment or this is just the way the store does business so it doesn’t have to address price drops.
I am sincerely disheartened both by the treatment when I went into the store and this policy that will make most people ineligible for a price reduction because I wore what I purchased, after I bought it. That’s slimy business.
As for the conduct of the staff , who was apparently on the management team there, I was absolutely appalled at the dismissive attitude and inability to problem solve. Forgive me if I am wrong but is customer service not a key aspect of customer retention and honouring price adjustments in a reasonable way so they don’t feel ripped off when and if returning to the store?
