Overall: We had a nice time and saw Amalfi, Positano, Capri and Sorrento. House is very nice and clean. People around us all nice and friendly and helpful. We had a few meals out and the food everywhere was good. Convenient to have a market at the foot of our hill. Enjoyed Most: The view--beautiful. Enjoyed Least: Probably the stairs...a young person would have no problem but we are in our 60's. They were a bit rough to navigate for me. Surrounding Area: It is extremely quiet and the neighbors are all friendly. It is perfect for someone wanting peace, quiet, and privacy. Nearby Events or Locales: No, not for us. The next closest town would probably be Amalfi and you need to take a bus or a taxi anywhere you want to go other than Praiano. Tips or Restaurants: We had pizza at Che Bonta...very good. Good service and reasonable prices. Also there was a take out place within walking distance that was very good. Bring wash cloths and the items mentioned on the list sent by RentVillas. Also bring aspirin and antibiotics in case of illness. Directions: We had a taxi take us. He called the local manager for directions. We did not drive and did not rent a car.
