Overall: Our experience surpassed our expectation. The property is charming, beautiful, spacious and is more beautiful than the online brochure. The house itself was also charming, spacious and our cheerful host, Luigi was very helpful and onsite every day. He helped us to book arrangements whenever we asked him. He came immediately any time we had an appliance question or problem. Very nice man. Enjoyed Most: The rooms were spacious, plenty of baths, the kitchen was well outfitted, allowing us to eat in many nights. Also, charming, beautiful and clean. The beds very comfortable. They have a washing machine. There is heat if you need it. Enjoyed Least: Can't think of anything at the moment. I thought it was a little closer to town but it wasn't that far and we walked to the Florence bus every day. It might not be a bad idea to have a car and driver if there are enough people staying there but we were there with only a few other people so I could understand not being able to add that service without charging. Many people drive there with cars so it is understandable that they do not provide a car. Surrounding Area: The town of Grassina is very charming. Nice local people, good restaurants and buses to Florence. Really nice. Banks, services, etc. Nearby Events or Locales: Grassina. Yes, about one mile, I believe. Tips or Restaurants: Bring some warm clothes in late April, it can be chilly. Otherwise the house has all you need. They have a washing machine but bring your own detergent. Directions: We took a cab from Florence airport and did not have a car so I can't give drivers any advice. It is easy to find. Check In Out: No, it went smoothly.
