Overall: Overall it was relaxing and certainly lived up to expectations. Enjoyed Most: Privacy and relaxing atmosphere and also the overall charm of the exquisitely restored building. Enjoyed Least: Unfortunately we had problems with the beautiful pool as the amount of chlorine caused excessive stinging of the eyes. There were a couple of broken pool chairs, as well. We mentioned both issues to the owner. He gave us a small discount on the electricity bill since we were unable to use the pool. Editor's Note: The owner confirmed that the automatic chlorinator malfunctioned, and it has been replaced. For the 2014 season, all outside furniture and BBQ will be replaced.
