repaired screen on sony z3 compact. at almost 100 pounds parts quality is expected to be reasonably good. as it happened, phone was dropped from the low height and screen shattered to pieces at multiple points. original fell many times in worst conditions and never had even minor crack or scratch. I would understand that OEM parts are no longer available, but personnel in the shop assured that replacement is of the same quality and so its worth paying them extra for the quality. compare this with £120 cost for replacement of Samsung A5 screen at official center .. and one would see that above was bad value for money.
