I wanted to try my hand at Kintsugi so went on the hunt for a vegan mica powder for the project. Resin8 caught my eye (I love a good play on words) and they had a lot of colours. I opted for the traditional gold but wasn’t sure about the adhesive aspect of it. They responded quickly to my query. It turned out that my husband had some of the recommended Araldite in his hobby stash. The mica powder arrived quickly and was very well packaged. The powder has a lovely shimmer to it and, although it’s a bit messy to use, it created lovely results. I now have a beautifully mended plate. I’ll be checking out Resin8 for more goodies in the future.
