My account has been locked since 13 July 2023 (six weeks ago) and I have a considerable amount of funds in the account. I immediately opened a chat regarding this and have spent hours liaising with the staff who change on a regular basis and continuously tell me that I am being scammed. I have provided all the supportive documentation they have requested, on numerous occasions and have responded to all their questions but still they tell me I am being scammed. Frustratingly, they do not elaborate and support me to understand how I am being scammed. I have explained that I am not being scammed and have, in my desperation, asked on several occasions for my account to be closed. They continuously ask me if I would like my account closed, I respond asking them to close my account and the cycle continues… I have formally complained through their own channels and whilst that has been 'auto responded to' I have no further response. Although their staff keep pasting their complaints link in the chat! Despite my promise to take to social media and complain to the FCA, their inaction and ability to move my case forwards continues. I strongly advise everyone not to get involved with Revolut. They cause stress and in my opinion are a deeply dubious financial service. I have never had an experience like this. Stay away.
