Review of Revolut
UNSAFE AND QUESTIONABLE PLATFORM. DO NOT USE!!
I wouldn't even give Revolute 1 star. I lost over £6000 as someone emptied my account at an Apple Store in Brentcross and Westfields London in person within a few hours. I informed Revolute promptly while transactions were still pending with merchants and Revolute could've easily frozen the payments but did nothing! Even on providing a police report and Bank's support on this, Revolute did not even follow with merchants or accept accountability.
Revolute is not accountable for their cyber security or duty of care to their customers. This is Gross Negligence. Even the BBC Panorama program did a report on Revolute, due to the frequency of complaints of theft on this platform.
DO NOT USE THIS UNSAFE PLATFORM.
The platform is clearly not secure and should be shut down as there is 'Rule Of Law' in the United Kingdom and it should be investigated. We will be using all complaint channels and legal action to recover the money and black mark Revolute for its negligence to provide the required Cyber Security. This is a serious issue which should be dealt with essentially as they are expanding their businesses.
AS FOR THEIR STANDARD REPLY TO CONTACT THEM IS ALSO USELESS. I DID CONTACT YOU AND WAS TOLD YOU WILL DO NOTHING. I WAS ELAILED TO SAY, AS FAR AS REVOLUTE IS CONCERNED NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY HAS HAPPENED! WOULD SOMEONE GO THROUGH 2 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS WITHIN A SHORT TIME FRAME TO USE OWN MONEY AND GET A POLICE REPORT??? WHAT A BAD JOKE.
