I ordered three items on 1st May - all appeared to be in stock and there was no indication otherwise. Once order was placed, I was advised delivery would be 2-4 weeks. I called on 6th June to be advised that cushion I had ordered wasn’t in stock and they were waiting delivery. The advisor I spoke to was surprised I hadn’t been contacted to advise me of this, and offered to send the other 2 items immediately. As I was going on holiday, I decided to wait until cushion was in stock as I didn’t want the items arriving while I was away. All 3 items arrived on Friday 24th June in two separate packages - one with the cushion and the other package had the remaining two items. I cannot understand why these two items were not dispatched when first ordered. Communication was poor, and they only way I was aware that an item I had ordered was not in stock was when I made a telephone call, over a month after I had ordered the items.
When ordering, it should be clearer if an item you are advertising is not in stock.
