Legacy server + Riverstone warranty = no problem.
Legacy server + no warranty = trouble.
We've had a couple of hardware failures on old servers and it was no problem to have expedited parts shipped out on both occasions. For me, that peace of mind lets me stretch the budget a bit further and get more production life out of equipment that would otherwise have to be retired.
