Initially, I wasn't entirely sure about the product; however, after bearing with it, I now understand its design and size. The firmness is there for a good reason and prevents an unsupported posture. This could be explained a bit more as some reviewers have mentioned the firmness as a negative. After a week's use during the hot spell, I am more than happy with it.
