We booked with RTW flights in 2009. We went on a 5 stop deal via USA. We were allowed one complete change of all flight times for free, which we made use of, and a complete change of itinerary costing £40, which I made use of. We flew with Quantas and when my brother missed his flight due to a miscommunication of a flight time they just stuck him on the next flight with a different operator for no charge (this was done by airport staff). The flights were all of great quality. When the volcanoe in iceland exploded, BA simply cancelled the flight and said call back when its all over but keep receipts for all accommodation and travel which you had to do. British Airways (who were operating that leg of the journey) then reimbursed my brother for all those extra expenses for having to stay for an extra 2 weeks in San Francisco - such a hard life! So we were very happy indeed. I also got emergency exit seats on a number of the flights and bumped up on one leg from New Zealand where I was sat next to a supermodel, which was nice :-)
