We ordered a rug two months ago, and online it was listed as in stock. After the rug wasn’t shipped for over a week, I contacted customer support, and was told the rug actually wasn’t in stock and the next shipment of them would arrive “sometime within the next 8 weeks.” They did offer to switch out the rug for another larger size, but I agreed to wait for the original one we ordered because the larger size wouldn’t fit in our home. That was fine.
However, during the following weeks, I received no further updates on the ETA until reaching back out for an update on week 7, checking to see if the shipment of rugs would be arriving soon. At that point, I was told the rugs were being further delayed and we now have to wait another month for this to arrive. In total, over three months of waiting, and the only resolutions was (once again) to send a rug in a bigger size that doesn’t fit or one that looks completely different. The lack of communication—just leaving us hanging—and lack of any updates on the status of the order or the whereabouts of the shipment has been frustrating. I don’t think I’ll order from here again, and I’m still just waiting for a rug that may or (god forbid) may not ever arrive.
