My experience of Ryedale auctioneers goes back about 2 years. sadly, all bad. Firstly, i entered a few items of Militaria and was told when dropping them off that I would be contacted regarding cataloguing and to confirm reserves. next thing I knew, they had published the catalogue two days prior to the sale with low guides on my items. I trusted that the reserves were in place but instead they sold my items at about 25% of their value. Secondly, I bought a gun cleaning kit. When I went to collect it, it was nowhere to be found. Thirdly, I bought a new part for a land Rover. Again, when I went to collect it, it could not be found. Finally, I bought two lots of shotgun cartridges and they appeared in my ' won lots' list. I was invoiced later that day for only one lot and the other has disappeared from my ' won lots' list. Enough! They are completely useless and I will be sending a report to Trading Standards.
