£1400 was paid into my account yesterday, by direct bank transfer from Amazon and therefore already cleared. But it is showing as not cleared and I cannot access my funds. MY funds, not Santander's. I was told they needed to carry out security checks which is absolute rubbish. I've emailed them and posted on their facebook page and phoned and all the response I get is that they are investigating. I want my money. I don't want an investigation. My son is special needs and lives in supported housing. Since the pandemic, he cannot go out and has had his meals cooked for him. I cannot pay the bill for this because Santander has my money. I have important bills to pay which I can't pay. This is theft, pure and simple. I am furious. I have put in a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman but I won't hold my breath.
