I purchased the PM7A. I was looking for a small multimeter to pair with my Leatherman. The USA manufacturers don’t really play in that market. This unit feels nice in the hand and has a nice weight to it. And I like that the leads wind up inside the cover. Also, in general, I feel that the Japanese make good products.
