I bought the MSI CX61 Haswell notebook (Spec: Intel® Core™ i5-4210M Haswell Dual Core Processor, 2.6 GHz Windows 8.1 64bit, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 750GB HDD) and am very happy with it so far. It is very fast, compared to my previous 5-year old machine, and handles like a charm. It comes with a matte screen which is a first for me and, I have to say, that I'm new convert since all other laptops/notebooks I worked on did not cut out the screen glare as this one has. The screen is wider which is great and the graphics (NVIDIA GEForce 820M) is brilliant as I need good graphics for both work (photography, digital art) and play (games, games, games!) This is the first MS Windows 8.1 operating system I've used and my learning curve (in the last week and few days) has not been as steep as I had assumed. My previous machine has MS Windows Vista Home installed and I've also used Windows 7 after a jump from the much loved Windows XP operating sytem - I recall a much harder learning curve for both Vista/Windows 7! I was surprised to find that I could manoeuvre around Windows 8.1 after looking up a few tips on the web...so yayy! I use the keyboard extensively (as an old-school MS-DOS user) and the placement of the new Start key has thrown me a little, as it used to be on the left-hand side (it's now on the right-hand side), but other than that, I'm happy. So this is a definite thumbs up from me - than you MSI, for a great machine and since I bought this at a reasonable price, compared to other pricing models out there, I definitely recommend this machine to others out there.
