If top quality, fresh meat products is the old garbage you sent me — then I would warn anyone to stay far away from this company.
January 2022, This company sent me ground wild boar that had a packaging date of 11-2020 (about 15 months old) , Bison Jerkey with a packing date of 11-2019 (about 26 months old), Ground Bison with a packing date of 9-2021 (about 5 months old) and Ground Elk with a packing date of 11-2021 (about 3 months old).
I reached out to the company to return the old stock of meat they sent me — however it appears their “100% Satisfaction Guarantee” is simply not true. The company did not call me back to speak with me after leaving them a voicemail, they decided to send me an email stating that they are within their rights to ship their customers meat that has been frozen for up to two years.
Gross — yes. My request for a return was ignored. The company acknowledged sending me 26 month old jerkey, outside of their 2 year “fresh top tier meat standard” and simply said that an employee must have picked old stock.
Anyone who has eaten ground meat that’s been frozen for more than 3-4 months can understand how tasteless the product is after that amount of time. Let alone sending people meat products that have been frozen for over a year or two and sending 10lbs of bison that’s already 5 months old.
I would highly recommend you take your business to one of the many other online sources unless you enjoy consuming old meat and dealing with a company that lies about a satisfaction guarantee.
