I phoned Scottish Power about the £66 government energy fund, as I hadn't received any money. Finally, at the end of November, I was given an RTI code. The RTI code didn't work. In the end, after numerous emails, phone calls (most of which weren't answered), they sent out a new prepayment key with £66 on it. I haven't received November or December's payments yet. I am trying to top up three times this week, in case it actually works. Ofgem can give an 0800 number for Scottish Power if you phone them. At least it's free from a landline. If you put in an official complaint to Scottish Power, then after 8 weeks you can complain to Ofgem. Perhaps if numerous people do this they might finally start paying attention. I would also suggest contacting The Sun newspaper, as they have already published an article about Scottish Power not paying the money to customers. Also, contact your local MSPs. Their emails will be on the .gov website. The only way Scottish Power will start treating customers fairly if when they are forced to.
