We have been with Scottish power for a number of years, At first I did not take much notice of their bills, but after a while I looked a bit closer and tried to work out their calculations which were not very clear, the amount of recalculations they send me at times were numerous and confusing. I came to the conclusion they were overcharging me in a big way. During the lockdown I decided to change supplier as I was quoted £650.00 per year less then SP.
The final bill was totally confusing, it changed daily and I could not work out what I owed. I send various E-mails to them to no avail. They kept pestering me for money so I decided to pay by instalments to keep them of my back.
The system in place with SP is that they do not reply to the customer so the customer gives up and resigns. I am a Dutch national living in the UK and I am dumb-founded that this practice takes place in the UK. This must be the worse business operating in the UK, a bit like manana maybe. With a government looking the other way what chance do we have? They won’t last, I hope! Very bad company !!!
