We booked a flight with AirAsia through Mytrip and it was scheduled to fly on March 27th. We arrived at the airport that day to find out that the flight had been cancelled and that an email had been sent to Mytrip by AirAsia about the schedule change. However, on our MyTrip itinerary it still had the cancelled date as the day we were to fly, and we hadn't received anything from Mytrip about this change. We we were put on the flight two days later, but lost our hotel bookings and taxi fares. When we contacted MyTrip we were told that this was the airline's fault and that we needed to contact that airline about reimbursements for our losses. At first they insisted that they did send us an email, but when pressed on this couldn't provide the email details. We were then hung up on a couple of times and had very rude staff telling us we were out of luck. It was a horrible experience.
