Sometime in late March I saw Jenna Soard’s video on Facebook and was completely intrigued and signed up for The Secret AI Society workshop. It was unlike anything I had ever seen! In the past I have paid (too much $$) for various business coaching/courses to onboard my own coaching to a full-on monetized business and have come away somewhat frustrated. I have learned a lot about setting up a business, but most of all, that I didn’t just need business tools, but a branding STRATEGY… something I had NOT gotten from any course thus far. I could not just ‘move forward’ past creating a logo and colors, business email, social media etc because I felt I needed help with the right name for my business. I had been taught that in the beginning, you just pick something and move on (‘you can always change it later’ they said…’but take action!’) but that’s exactly why I COULDN’T move on! I had brainstormed dozens of creative names I loved, along with others that may be better suited for a course name, or an event, or membership – all the things I had learned about and wanted to do – but I didn’t have the vision for the brand or the organizational structure around it to put in place and move forward. I felt sure that if I could have some help with brand strategy, then I could construct a visual ‘plan’ for how my creative ideas would fit together, and then I could focus on building out ONE idea at a time. Although I was initially resistant to purchasing ONE MORE business course or membership (because I am already in two others and maxxed out on my ‘membership budget’) my enthusiasm from this workshop got the best of me! Finally, someone (Jenna) was speaking into my creativity and my yearning for ‘more’ – though I did not know exactly what that meant for me. I felt so strongly that this was what my creativity kept searching for in branding my business, but never could find ‘it’ or think it would be possible without an incredible amount of energy, money and time to make what I envisioned in my head become a business brand. Hearing Jenna talk about the program and the importance of a brand made me feel like the Secret AI Society was what I had been missing and needed – what a restorative feeling! After the workshop, I felt like I might FINALLY have found the ‘place’ to bring my business vision together – and with beautiful, unique AI images instead of the lackluster I perceived stock ones to have. So, yes, I sure DID! I joined the Secret AI Society in April, and in doing so, have already gotten so much more clarity about what my real vision for my brand and business can be. I have confidence that this valuable program led by amazing creatives will get me past the roadblocks I have had in other programs and see this dream business finally come to life! I do not have a lot of ‘visible progress’ yet ( not as much as I had wanted by now) but I have learned so much from joining in and being ‘quietly present’ on the meet ups! Lizz Smoak’s meetups are a no-miss event, as I learn SO MUCH every time! She is fabulous! My excitement for what is possible is enhanced by the warmth, generosity, enthusiasm, encouragement, creativity, and wisdom of so many great design coaches who are ALL so motivating and willing to help each of us succeed. Their passion for this work is unequivocal. I simply love how the creative process is embraced and applauded here at the Secret AI Society. It is fascinating! I am excited, overwhelmed, hopeful, grateful and inspired by this excellent community of creatives! Thank you so much!
