The tours that I'd taken (8) were all good, though some were better than others, especially the places that I'd never been to before when I used to travel with Globus and Cosmos. I especially enjoyed Sicily and Malta as I did not see this with Globus or Cosmos. I did find that in some places I did not have enough time to do the cities. One good example is Dublin from the tour last Oct (Northern Wales and Eastern Ireland). When I was with Globus I could cover more places and see more in Dublin for the time where we were there compared to last year. In general, it's not enough time in any place after the city walk. This is just personal. I prefer more scenery and culture and history, and architecture. But I don't like to spend too much time in museums and theaters (eveninigs). And despite SDR's caution regarding physical ability, some participants are not up it (in 2 of my 8 tours). The only problem now is for long-haul flights, it might take 3-4 years to recover before we can travel again.
