My first Senior Discovery Tour was marred by COVID-19. We left home March 11 for Malta only to have everything shut down, and a scramble for flights home and a hotel to stay in till the final flights from Heathrow to Toronto caused huge amounts of stress for all travellers. Our guide suffered from the pressure and responsibility I’m sure as she became quite disorganized at times, but in the end we all made it home safe and sound. I appreciated not having to find my own flights and accommodations, and consider this vacation unforgettable! I would love to return to Malta, to the same hotel with the same view...it was spectacular! All in all the trip was well organized; I would try again if we ever get to travel!
