Overall very good and excellent most of the time in terms of tour organization, value for what is offered and customer service. The tour director can make the difference between a good and excellent trip on many occasions. At times the flights are inconvenient and not scheduled with travellers in mind- likely more to do with cost. For example, the trip to Northern Portugal and Madeira- where for the trip home I believe I recall flying back to Lisbon for one day and then a stopover flight extremely early in the AM backwards to the hub in Germany before heading home. I understand some flights are cheaper but why the day trip back to Lisbon for one day? Why couldn’t you leave directly from Madeira one day later and fly from Madeira to Frankfurt, I believe it was, and then home? Overall we do really enjoy Senior Discovery Tours and will travel with you again when the pandemic is under control with an effective vaccine.
