DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! SCAMMERS! I would give zero stars if their was an option. I had an engineer come out to look at my fridge freezer on 21st October 2022. Before hand service site had requested pictures of the fridge and model number. No where on any form of correspondence was a call out fee stated. I had emailed and asked and now looking back my question was dodged and replied with a question to my own. Engineer arrived and the first thing I say to him “is today going to cost anything at all? Is there a call out charge?” To which he replied “No! You will only pay if I carry out the work on the fridge which happened after parts are ordered if any need ordering” so I thought okay great and let him in. I already knew exactly what was wrong with my fridge I told him what I thought and he said I was correct within 10 seconds of looking at it. He said he would see how much the part is and get back to me. Once receiving the price for the part i decided I would just buy a new fridge as the repair was more expensive than I thought. The engineer was fine with this and he said no problem. Fast forward a few months later and to my surprise I received an invoice of £70.80 for a call out charge. With no actual way to pay it in the first place. Obviously I disputed this and explained my reasons (because I was told their wasn’t a call out fee). After a threat of debt collection agency I made various attempts to ask for payment details as I never received any! Or some sort of payment link. No response. I have NEVER had no direct response from service site or reply to my emails. Phone number they provide is automated! And the website link always came up “unknown server” it was almost as if it was a scam especially with misspelling in their emails. Not once have I spoken to a real human or had a reply from one. After various email attempts and no response I have had no contact from them until an email last week!!! Almost 2 years later! It wasn’t them it was in fact a debt collection agency (Husband collection services Limited). With a £95.80 Bill to pay and court threats! I am beyond outraged to be honest. I think it’s disgusting that they have their engineers blatantly lie to customers. Then the lack of professionalism and response. It’s all an act to get more money out of you! I have actively tried and tried to contact them and nothing. And now to be threatened with CCJs and effecting my credit score! The debt collection agency gave me 7 days to reply🤣 I mean it’s just a joke really. I would avoid this company at all costs. Use at your own risk!
