ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY TURNED INTO A DISASTER!! I was looking for a particular rear luggage rack for my disc brake cyclocross bike. Having checked out their website, Bicycle Hero seemed to have the item I was after, at a good price, and their website and reviews seemed to indicate they would be a good company to deal with... Wrong!! - I placed an order on 26th April and after 2 weeks I had not heard anything, nor had I received the item. - I e-mailed them on 9th May and they said the delay was because the item was not in stock but they would dispatch as soon as it was in stock. - On 20th May I received an e-mail from Bicycle Hero with details of the item dispatch, apparently sent by FedEx. - On 30th May I received an e-mail from Bicycle Hero asking me to write a review of their company as I should have received the item. I HAD NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING!! - I e-mailed them back to say I had not received the item and would not write a review until I had received it. Could they please let me know what had happened to the order? - A further 3 days later I had not heard anything back from Bicycle Hero, so I tried to track the item on the FedEx website using the FedEx tracking number they had supplied on 20th May. The item showed up as having been signed for in Venice, California, USA... I am in Singapore!!!!! - I e-mailed Bicycle Hero again on 3rd June asking them to look into the matter urgently, or give me a full refund. - They replied back to me on the same day to say that the item could not be found and the FedEx system was showing the wrong details. They could offer me a refund or send me a replacement. - In response I asked that they send me a replacement but only if it could be dispatched without further delay. - They replied again and said that the item was not in stock so there would obviously be another delay in obtaining th item for me... at which point I asked for a refund. In fairness, they did apologise for all of the problems... maybe I was just unlucky. Maybe the item going missing was FedEx's fault, I don't know. They also offered me a 10% discount voucher if I wanted to place any future order with them, but honestly... I just would not risk it. I'll look elsewhere thank you...
