USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN PERIL!
You will notice from the low star reviews that a lot of them show that this company will not settle any complaints amicably and that they are very evasive and unhelpful. They make every excuse they can to avoid their responsibilities for poor goods.
I purchased a 50 litre compressor in 2019 and soon found that the inside of the tank was not treated and rusty water was emptied out after each use. Despite sending photographs to the company and asking for it to be replaced under guarantee, the company still has not made any comments other than saying that the inside of their tanks are treated against rust. Since this company seems to use cheap Chinese goods which are not durable I can only assume that they are only interested in selling cheap imports and pocketing my money.
The second issue is when I wanted to buy a SGS Mini Inline Filter & Water Trap; I telephoned (the call was recorded by me) SGS Engineering Co UK to ask them what the correct couplers should be and I was given the part code numbers and I immediately made an online order. The parts arrived quickly and without any instructions but because the parts were recommended by SGS Engineering Co UK to fit the male & female end connectors of the inline filter/water trap they could not be put on the wrongly. After a few days of using the inline filter/water trap with my SGS compressor to spray a classic car I noticed the spray pattern was not right so got a friend who is a sprayer to have a look. His finding was that SGS Engineering Co UK had recommended and supplied the WRONG couplers for the inline filter/water trap and the direction of air flow through the filter/water trap was going the wrong way. I contacted the company by email to explain the situation and ask for compression on the grounds of them giving incorrect information and informing them of the Misrepresentation Act 1967. This was the start of a long dialogue whereby they refused to accept any responsibility and were very evasive, saying "Spraying is a specialist profession. We are not responsible if you have set up the airline incorrectly, or had an issue through operation, on parts ordered in the October of 2019. You ordered the parts (online) and you set up the airline. Moreover, we are not liable for any materials you have bought or monies you have lost." Very interested comments and when I explained it was a SGS Engineering employee who told me the couplers part numbers and I had made the order using that information and it had been set up and used correctly yet they continued to be evasive. I sent them a dated recording of the telephone conversation and copies of the my telephone bill, both which confirmed the call had been made on the date and time to their number yet they said they had no recording of my call! Obviously, they must have conveniently 'lost' their call recording. This shows what sort of company they are.
At no time did they ask the goods to be returned for inspection and despite being given deadlines to try to resolve the matter I realised I was not going to get replacements or my money back after months of trying I decided not to waste any more time on such an evasive and unhelpful company selling poor quality goods and its employees giving incorrect information over the telephone. Do not be misled by any good reviews you read but bear in mind if things go wrong with something you purchase from this company you have no redress so if you buy from this company you do so at your own risk.
