As a trade customer the service we received from Sheaf Diesel Services fell very short of what we would expect for a good supplier. We had travelled to Portugal to fit one of their reconditioned diesel pumps. When it became obvious the pump was faulty - the car was hunting and we checked everything possible for a whole day before refitting the original pump to find the hunting stopped - we called Sheaf to see if we could discuss how we could proceed so we could get the job done - we were already a day late leaving and had a car in a worse position than when we arrived - we were told the only thing we could do was return the pump and we were also told Andrew would call us back but he never did. We found our own solution and returned the pump when we returned to the UK - two days late because of the delays the faulty pump had caused us! When we heard back from Andrew at Sheaf Diesel Services regarding the return they claimed they had the pump tested and there was nothing wrong with it, so they treated it as an unwanted return and refunded the cost of the unit plus the surcharge but not the shipping - appalling! Not once did Andrew reach out to speak to us, we are reasonable people and just wanted a supportive supplier whilst we were in a desperate situation - something this company certainly is not!
