The price of the Astracast sink was competitive and included delivery. The problem was the sink was delivered direct from the manufacturer. Ordered on a Friday afternoon and got a phone call the following Monday morning saying a sink is to be delivered in 10 minutes. Great. Checked the packaging and everything looked OK. Later opened the packaging and one corner of the sink was broken off. Must have been done before being put in the box. Contacted Shipitappliances and was asked to e mail photos. Another one turned up on the Wednesday (with no e mail confirmation), this time an hours phone notice. Good job that I was in both times. The packaging on this one was damaged, so checked while the driver was there. This one was in the box upside down.This sink was OK, though. The packaging of the sink needs to be looked at and certainly stronger tape should be used on the long seams. Have yet to have the sink fitted. I liked the quick response in the way the faulty item was dealt with but would have liked to have known what was happening after e mailing the photos.
