I am a big fan of brogues and I had ordered a pair of Scimitar STEWART Leather Brogues Shoes since similar ones are not freely available in India. I liked the design on the Shuperb website and ordered the product. The customer service person was very helpful and the product was delivered much earlier than I anticipated. Unfortunately, it was below my expectations. The shoes are actually very average, without the fine finish which other makers like Clarks have, and I could clearly see imperfections in the way the leather edges were cut. Moreover, the shape is not very attractive as the shoes have a 'bulging' appearance and I felt that the photo on the website is quite deceptive. Although it is a correct fit for size 8, I find it difficult to tighten the laces fully as the flap under the eyelets rub hard against my foot causing pain and discomfort. The PVC soles are noisy and not safe on smooth floors as they tend to slip. I have already had 3 near falls. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product. Unfortunately for me, I had to shell out nearly 80 pounds for a product priced at 26 pounds! The delivery charges were 23 pounds and the rest was import tax duty for India. To sum up, it was not worth it, sadly.
