Simply Shutters worked to make things right at the end. This review is more about my experience and follow-up experience and not about a great first installation impression. Mistakes were made but in the end, they did make things right. Our original order contained two large high windows that later were determined "difficult to install" requiring "additional equipment" by the installation crew assigned to do the installation. Following a long shipping delay partly due to COVID-19 and a lack of shipping containers from the source of the fabrication factory, when the order finally arrived, we received a call and scheduled the installation. The installation crew arrived within the installation timeframe and proceeded to begin the installation. Apparently, the original estimator was accustomed to doing this kind of work but left the company and the crew assigned to the installation was not capable or experienced enough to do the work. The crew installed all but the two large windows and left advising that they would have the manager call us and return. They did leave the shutters and frames for the two large windows unboxed and opened inside my garage leaving no room for my cars. We received a call from Steve who was trying to come up with a solution. After reviewing the pictures and location of the windows he apologized stating that he would need to rent scaffolding and even then probably not be able to install the two large shutters again explaining that the original estimator was accustomed to doing this kind of specialty work but left the company and the current crew assigned to the installation was not capable or experienced to do the work. We communicated several times over several days and eventually once we requested a fair resolution and compensation, for this issue, we eventually settled on an equitable credit. Steve again apologized for how things were left undone and unboxed by the crew, the misunderstanding with the original order and the shipping delays. We know not all companies will have a perfect track record and things happen. At least in this case with some persistence and patience on our end, Simply Shutters did eventually make things right. The quality of the product is great, My experience with the installation team assigned was OK at best - for the ones they did install at least. Would I use them again, I would say yes, knowing if something was not right, at least Simply Shutters would try to make it right somehow in the end.
