I received my item on the 23rd of February and upon opening the box (which was not damaged) I quickly noticed the chair was broken in a few places. Within 3 hours I contacted SKLUM looking for a refund. They said they couldn’t refund because delivery was made on 14th of February and that I missed the 48 hour deadline. I contacted the delivery provider and they sent an email confirming delivery was on 23rd of February. I got another email saying sorry delivery was made on 16th of February so they can’t help. They completely ignored the email confirming delivery was on 23rd of February by the delivery agents. They have given inconsistencies in the dates and are ignoring my evidence that delivery was made on 23rd. Furthermore, it was impossible for delivery to be on 14 or 16th because I was out of the country and only returned on 21st of February.
SKLUM is in breach of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 as well as the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Be very careful with this supplier. I will be lodging formal complaints to get this addressed but it is shocking how they are responding.
