I ordered six chairs from Sklum on 30 July 2024. They didn’t arrive until late August, which was generally in line with their instructions; however, obtaining shipping information was a nightmare. It took me two weeks just to get any sort of update.
When the chairs finally arrived, one was damaged as something had punctured the box. I was concerned this might happen because I’d read several reviews warning about their poor customer service, and sure enough, it’s been a headache. I submitted a return claim on 29 August 2024, but here we are, a month later (it’s now 26 September), and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. I’ve tried contacting them multiple times, but the only option seems to be their chatbot, which has been no help at all. The bot said they’d send a replacement, but I’ve had no further updates.
In short, the bad reviews about Sklum’s customer service are spot on. I’m facing the same frustrating delays and lack of communication as so many others. If you’re thinking of buying from Sklum, be aware that you could end up with damaged goods and be waiting months for any kind of resolution.
