I am really disappointed in Sklum. The shipping was messy but ultimatly everything arrived. I bought two bedside tables and a couple of lamps. One of the lamps had an included lightbuld that burned out after just one day, the lamp itself was crooked and had damages (probably from shipping). The bedside tables have a very strong smoky/burnt smell to them. It was so bad that I had to leave them on the balcony for days and the smell still didn't go away. I contaced the customer support through every way possible. I created a ticket on their website, talked to the useless chatbot and even tried sending emails to addresses that I am not even sure are still supported. No response whatsoever. From all the negative reviews on Trustpilot I take it that Sklum doesn't have a customer support at all. It seems like it's just a dropshipper who resells cheap furniture from China. Good thing I payed with PayPal so I can at least get my money back but it's too bad because the designs of the products look great.
