The attitude of this company is awful. I won't shop with them again. I ordered dining chairs and, once in the house, I decided they weren't what I was after. In fairness, the delivery was prompt and the chairs seemed to be of good quality. I got in touch to arrange a return. I was told I would have to pay £150 AND fund the return myself. It does state on the site that there is a charge for returns but I assumed this would cover the return costs, not be in addition to them. There is no discernible reason to be charged £150. It breaches the company's own terms and conditions outlined on their site (which state a full refund will be given) and I believe it breaches trading standards. On arguing my case, the company dropped the requirement for me to fund the return myself. However, £150 is still a gross overcharge for the cost of the return. I could have booked a courier to return the chairs for £70. I really didn't appreciate the way SLF dealt with this, trying any angle to get money out of me. They have my £150 but they certainly don't have my repeat custom.
