I ordered 2 direct current pull chain control fans from SmaFan. The fans were shipped promptly, packaged well, and looked to be very well built. Unfortunately, the fans were wired with only a single positive/hot wire for both the fan and the attached light. I expected (and needed) separate positive/hot wires for the fan and the light in order to utilize the existing wiring for my wall switches. I contacted SmaFan and was very pleased with their help in returning the fans and getting a refund. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND SmaFan for both the quality of their products and services.
